$18.00 minimum donation please.
HaBonim,
or “builders” are individuals and families whose capital campaign contribution of $18,000 or more provided special help in turning our
dream of a new synagogue into a reality. Donors at this level are given the opportunity to choose naming opportunities (objects, areas,
or structures) in appreciation of their generosity. More than 300 Shomrei Torah families dug deep in their pockets and contributed
to our initial two capital campaigns and
we were able to raise more than
6 million dollars. More than 5 million of that
6 million dollars was raised through pledges
of $18,000 or more. For most of us, our
Capital Campaign pledge was greater than
any other financial commitment that we
have ever made, outside of our schooling
and homes. Additionally, participants are asked to share their story about the personal meaning
of their chosen naming opportunity, which are permanently displayed in a special book to remember what motivated their gifts and to inspire others. If you would like to know
more about naming opportunities, please contact Nancy Kay at (707) 477-6683 for more information.
Shomrei Torah has established a Legacy Circle to honor and recognize members who have made the decision to remember Shomrei Torah in their estate plan, or who have created a named endowment fund that will continue to provide for congregational needs or programs in perpetuity.
